Dewey’s Vision of Moral Theories

Introduction and aim: The changes occurring in the universe lead to continuous variation of customary practices, belief, fighting, labor and other values. The moral upbringing and education is also, perceived by the society as a purpose of school as a form of public life. The most modern schools are oriented towards, training process and knowledge transfer, and they do not associate this process with a system of customary practices that complicates the creation of moral interest, development of moral visions and formation of moral character. Dewey’s vision of dualistic moral theories will develop skills of all parties involved in training-educational process to manage their social interest and intelligence.

Research methodology: There have been used the methods of the empirical and theoretical research: observation, comparison, analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction.

Results and implications: We have concluded that Dewey’s philosophy today, still remains relevant to modern requirements, and it will help educators to exercise maximum of individual and collective abilities.

The use of Dewey’s approaches will help members of the society to improve discipline, culture, social efficiency and personal character, as well as to balance their own contribution to society.

Conclusion: Knowledge of the mentioned theories ultimately will make moral and social characteristics identical to each other.
